Privacy Policy
Fotog collects
nothing.
Effective Date: September 11, 2026 · Version 1.0
Data We Collect
None. Fotog does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or location data. There is no account to create — no email, phone number, name, or age is ever requested or stored.
The Camera
Fotog analyses the live camera preview on your device to give you guidance — level, exposure, where the subject sits in the frame, and so on. These frames are processed in memory and discarded. Nothing from the preview is saved unless you press the shutter.
Your Photos
Photos you take are saved to your Photos library, where they are under your control like any other photo. Fotog requests add-only access; it cannot read, browse, or modify photos you took with other apps.
Lessons
When you retake a shot, Fotog keeps a small before-and-after pair, its measurements, and which of the two you preferred. These are stored inside the app on your iPhone only. You can delete any lesson by swiping it in the Lessons list; deleting the app removes them all.
Voice
Tapping the mic transcribes your question using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is never recorded, and if on-device recognition is unavailable for your language, Fotog declines to listen rather than sending audio to a server. Spoken coaching is generated on your device.
Advice
Suggestions in the Advice panel are written by Apple's on-device Foundation Models from a short description of the scene's measurements. No image and no text leaves your phone.
Passport Mode
Passport mode helps you compose a photo to a standard template. It is a photography aid, not a government service, and does not submit anything to any authority. The photo it saves goes to your Photos library like any other.
In-App Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Labham LLC does not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Third-Party Services
Fotog does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and contains no network code.
Children's Privacy
Fotog does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
