Data We Collect
None. LexFlex does not collect any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or location data.
Data Stored on Your Device
LexFlex stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults and local storage:
Your game statistics (wins, streaks, scores), your custom "My Words" word lists, your challenge history, and your display name. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Labham LLC or any third party.
Challenges and Peer-to-Peer Sharing
When you create a challenge, it is encoded entirely on your device into a secure HTTPS link. This link contains only the puzzle word (obfuscated), your display name, your chosen category, and your target score. No phone numbers or email addresses are included.
Challenge links are shared directly with your recipient through iMessage, WhatsApp, or any messaging app of your choice. Labham LLC does not operate any servers involved in transmitting challenges between players.
When a recipient plays your challenge and sends back a result, that result travels the same way — directly from their device to yours as a link. The result contains only their tries, score, time, and display name.
The intermediate redirect page (labham.com/lexflex-c.html and labham.com/lexflex-r.html) is a static HTML page hosted on labham.com. Your web host's standard server logs may record the IP address and timestamp of requests to this page, as is standard for any website visit. Labham LLC does not process or retain these logs beyond standard hosting.
iCloud Keychain
To protect the integrity of challenge results, LexFlex generates a cryptographic secret key on first launch and stores it in your iCloud Keychain. This key is used to sign and verify results so that scores cannot be tampered with.
The key is stored exclusively in your iCloud Keychain and syncs only across your own Apple ID's devices. It is never transmitted to Labham LLC or any third party. If iCloud Keychain is disabled, the key remains local to your device and result verification is limited to that device.
In-App Purchases
LexFlex Plus is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. Labham LLC does not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Third-Party Services
LexFlex does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
Children's Privacy
LexFlex does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
